Fighting the man!

Seems as though more and more of my local water is getting posted - luxury development here, pay-to-fish water there. What the what?? (I got more of these stickers. If anybody's interested shoot me a note and I'll send one out.)

A new glossy.

I'm a sucker for a well-designed magazine with a side of juicy art direction. I'm also a sucker for motorcycles so this new journal has me all jacked-up! Outrider Journal should be hitting the stands in March.

Some rivers...

Some rivers aren't pretty. You won't find them in fishing rags or the latest "hip" flick, but their water is cold and it feels good. They make a stolen day and somewhere in that not-so-pretty water there's a fish.

My drawers.

I like these pants. Double-knee and built like tanks! They last twice as long as a Carhartts' and 10 times longer than Mtn. Khakis. They're from Oxen, a company out of Broooklyn, NY, and they're called the Double Knee Carpenter. Now I don't know how a company out of Brooklyn went about getting into the pants bizz but they've done it and they're doing it well. I work in 'em, fish in 'em and ride in 'em. Dems good pants!

Side tracked...

So I went to get some line for my new switch rod. I ended up stopping by the Apple Store to gawk at a 27" iMac instead. (Made this post on it in the store.)

The Trout Shall Rise Again!

So this is a t-shirt idea I've had for a while. Thinking about producing them.

Skillzzzz!

Riding more than 500lbs of motorcycle like he's on a bicycle. (I need to ride more.)

A statement.

I get a lot of flack for this piece. But it I think it makes a statement and the damn thing is warm! Perfect under a pair of waders. Patagonia calls it the nano puff pullover. It really does look better on. Really.

Why?

Hopefully this little nubbins of a blog will strike a chord with someone. It's a place where I hope to just show the things I like - fly fishing, cars, design, and other stuff. I'm no writer or professional photographer, so if you don't expect too much you just might dig this stuff!

So dig this...

Winter fishing on the Jackson River. Thank you fish.
